PEANUT-FREE SCHOOL

A student in our school has a severe allergy to “peanuts”.  Please help us avoid exposure to this allergen by sending peanut-free snacks and lunches to help keep our students safe.

HEALTHY DRINKS/HEALTHY ACTIVE LIVING

Research shows that it is important for all of us to keep hydrated and teachers encourage students to keep water bottles on their desks to sip throughout the day. We are committed to ensuring students have daily physical activity – a healthy body helps build a healthy mind.

NUTRITION FOR LEARNING PROGRAMS

During the 2016-17 school year, every student will be offered snacks for morning and afternoon nutrition breaks. These healthy, nutritious snacks are provided by Nutrition for Learning and are available to all students free of charge. If you are interested in volunteering to support this program or would like to make a financial donation to support Nutrition for Learning at St. Joseph please speak with Mrs. Reesor.
